Preorder Policy

Preorder Policy

Most of our designs are only available through preorder. This means the item is not yet in stock but will be produced especially for you. Below we explain what this entails:

What is a preorder?

A preorder is a reservation for a product that still needs to be made or delivered. When you place a preorder, we immediately start the production process for your item.

Delivery time

The expected delivery time is always clearly stated on the product page (for example: 6–8 weeks). We do our best to meet this timeframe and will keep you updated on the progress.

Can I cancel or return my preorder?

Because preorders are produced especially for you, they are binding and cannot be canceled or returned.
This is not only our policy but also supported by European consumer law (§ 312g(2) BGB): the right of withdrawal does not apply to items that are produced only after the order has been placed.

Why is that?

We work with small production runs and artisanal processes. By producing only what is ordered, we avoid overproduction and reduce waste – an important step towards a more sustainable and responsible way of creating fashion. When you place a preorder, we reserve materials and production time specifically for your piece.

It’s a bit like ordering a handmade gift – created with care, attention, and respect for both you and the environment.

In summary

  • Preorders are made especially for you.

  • Preorders are final and cannot be canceled or returned.

  • Delivery time is always stated on the product page.

  • We produce only what is needed, reducing waste and supporting sustainability.

  • Your item is crafted with care and delivered on time.

We greatly value your trust in our work and do everything we can to make your preorder a special experience.

Made-to-order & Legal Note

All preorder items are produced only after the order has been placed. We do not keep stock for these designs: each piece is scheduled in our small production runs and materials are reserved specifically for your order.

Because of this made-to-order process, preorders fall under the legal exception of § 312g(2) BGB (Directive 2011/83/EU). This means the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply, as the item is not prefabricated but produced individually by hand after purchase.
