At Kitty van Coesant, every piece begins with an idea, not a production schedule.
We don't create thousands of identical garments in large factories. Instead, we work with a small network of highly skilled knitters and crocheters in Spain and Romania. where traditional techniques have been passed down through generations.
Handmade knitwear simply cannot be rushed. Every stitch, every embroidered detail and every finishing touch takes time, patience and craftsmanship. This slower approach allows us to focus on what truly matters: exceptional quality, luxurious natural fibres and timeless design.

Our Workshops
Behind every Kitty van Coesant design is a close collaboration with a small network of highly skilled artisans in Spain and Romania.
Rather than working with large-scale manufacturers, we choose specialised workshops where craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality always come first. Many of our knitters have spent decades perfecting traditional knitting and crochet techniques, creating garments that simply cannot be replicated by mass production.
By producing in small quantities, we can work closely together throughout the entire process—from the first sample to the final piece. This allows us to experiment with textures, colours and handcrafted details while ensuring every garment meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Exceptional Natural Fibres
Every Kitty van Coesant collection begins with carefully selected natural fibres chosen for their softness, beauty and durability.
We work with luxurious mohair, alpaca, wool, cotton and silk, combining each fibre for its unique qualities and the richness it brings to every design. To add depth and subtle luminosity, we also incorporate the finest metallic viscose yarns, creating delicate highlights that catch the light without overpowering the knitwear.
The choice of yarn is never accidental. Every fibre is selected to achieve the perfect balance of comfort, texture, warmth and elegance, ensuring each piece feels as exceptional as it looks.
