The Midnight Marigold Blazer

A vintage men’s blazer transformed into a one-of-a-kind statement piece.

Benjamin worked across the deep navy pinstripe base with embroidered and sequined flowers in warm orange, soft pink, lilac and olive green.

The floral decoration travels asymmetrically from the shoulder across the front of the blazer. Smaller flowers continue over the striped waist trim and towards the lower edge, creating the feeling of a garden growing across the tailoring.

Cream and navy bands add a sporty element to the waist and one sleeve. The lapels are outlined with small pearls, while the turned-back cuffs are finished with satin, velvet and a subtle shimmer.

Elegant, playful and a little unexpected.

The original men’s cut gives the blazer its relaxed oversized shape. The floral embellishment softens the structure without taking away its strong, tailored character.

Each detail was positioned individually by Benjamin.
Only one piece has been made.

Style it with loose denim and a simple T-shirt, or contrast it with silk or layers of tulle.
